The first ever Community Quilting Bee Raffle has come to a close. Congratulations to the winner of Quilt #1: Noura A and Quilt #2: Fiona Connor.
(Noura is also running her own fundraiser selling jars of Sumac Chilli Oil. All funds are directly sent to her friend’s family in Gaza. If you are in LA we encourage you to get a delicious jar for yourself! More information here.)
All together 18 people contributed quilt squares, 52 raffle were tickets purchased, Reflections of Space drew an audience of 50, and Bodywork for Palestine gave 5 massages (including 2 complimentary massages for individuals from the Palestinian diaspora).
This allowed us to buy 15 eSIMs totaling in $539.49 for Connecting Humanity, donate $61.25 for more eSIMs via Crips for Gaza, and $309.27 to Gaza Mutal Aid Solidarity.
